Is your child missing hats, mitts, scarfs, ski pants? There is a good chance they are at the library!!

We have a large assortment of these items that have been left behind!
Please drop into the library by June 4th to pick up the items that belong to you. After the 4th, we will be donating them.

Little Sprouts Community Garden Meeting

Meeting is on Thursday , May 2nd @ 7:00 p.m at the library. Garden plots are available. Sections are 30’ x 50’. No age limit. Registration fee of $15.00 can be paid at the library. For more information, call 824-2477.

Kid's Mother's Day Craft

Library CEO first in Northwestern Ontario to receive APLL Certificate

Donna Mikeluk, CEO of the Schreiber Public Library, received a Certificate in Public Library Leadership in Toronto at the Ontario Library Conference from APLL (Advancing Public Library Leadership).

The APLL Institute is a two year certificate program aimed at expanding the leadership capacity of public library CEO’s and managers. In order to receive the certificate, the recipient has completed 12 courses in two streams: Organizational Leadership and Leading in the Municipal Environment. The APLL Institute is a program of Southern Ontario Library Service.

Donna is the first librarian in Northwestern Ontario to receive this certificate.

Congratulations Donna!!

Learn about the potential dangers that may affect your personal safety and how to stay safe in potentially dangerous situations. Open to everyone!
